The MF LB 2233 model is equipped with a cutting system of up to 17 knives, while the MF LB 2224, MF LB 2234, and MF LB 2234 XD models feature up to 26 knives. The knives are arranged in two groups, which can be easily engaged and disengaged directly from the cab using the terminal and hydraulic system. When all knives are engaged, the theoretical cutting length is 43.5 mm, and when one group is used, it is 87.0 mm.
High productivity, industry-leading bale density, and excellent bale shape are achieved thanks to the patented pre-compression chamber design. The opening mechanism is activated only when the chamber is completely full, and the feed system directs the formed layer into the press chamber.
Driven by a heavy-duty gearbox, the piston is connected to two reinforced connecting rods. Load sensors integrated into them measure the force on the piston surface. This data is used for automatic density control and helps the operator maintain guidance in uneven windrows using direction indicators.
