The MF SB 1842S balers feature a number of design improvements that increase productivity by up to 20% compared to the MF SB 1840. All key components are designed for high efficiency, including a reinforced pick-up, a high-capacity feeding channel, double feeding forks, and an enlarged pre-compression chamber. At the same time, fuel consumption is reduced and downtime is minimized.
The unique in-line layout allows the baler to operate directly behind the tractor along the same axis, ensuring maximum comfort and efficiency in the field. The crop flows in a straight line—from pickup to the exit of the finished bale at the rear. This also improves weight distribution and reduces soil compaction.
To ensure perfect bale shape in all conditions and maintain constant density, the OptiForm chamber is 2100 mm long—5% longer than the MF SB 1840—and features adjustable resistance gates. The standard hydraulic density system applies pressure to the upper and lower guides and automatically adapts to crop conditions, ensuring consistent bale weight.
